Given that there is a direct and powerful correlation between the level of service we provide…and lease renewals…we feel it is critical to the financial performance of our portfolio to track how well we satisfy our residents.

Our organization has made a conscious decision to do what it takes to be a leader in the multifamily industry. As a result, annually we have made a commitment to survey resident satisfaction. We have done so in an effort to obtain a snapshot of property, regional and corporate-wide issues that are impacting resident satisfaction…and renewals. We have contracted with SatisFacts Research (www.satisfacts.net), a national leader in multifamily satisfaction research. SatisFacts’ client list includes a significant number of National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC) Top 50 owners and managers – in fact, their clients’ portfolios represent several hundred thousand units from across the nation. Besides being able to benchmark our performance metrics internally (from region by region, to property by property), SatisFacts’ database permits us to compare ourselves to not only the SatisFacts Index, but also against our peers.

The 10th Annual MMHA Star Awards......over 800 in attendance

Oh what a night for Allen & Rocks!! The 10th annual Maryland Multi Housing Association Star Awards were held on October 19, 2006 at the historic Hippadrome Theatre in Baltimore .  An estimated 800 property management professionals representing over 100 communities were in attendance to honor the best of the best in property management.

The Top Management companies in the Baltimore Metropolitan area were well represented including Southern Mgmt, Bozutto Mgmt., The Time Group, Sawyer Mgmt., Dolben , Continental Realty and Home Properties. 

Allen & Rocks, Inc. is proud to announce that our Baltimore communities were recognized  as  top award winners in the competition... winning 2 Gold Star Awards (First place) and a Silver Star Award ( Second Place)

Our Gold Star Award winning communities are: The Renaissance Club and The Metropolitan of Baltimore.

Our Silver Star Award Winning Community is Elkridge Estates of Roland Park.

We are extremely proud of our management teams.  They have not only brought honor and recognition to their team but to our entire organization.   Everyday, not just during the judging period, our service,leasing and management teams strive to achieve our Quest for Excellence.   The judges in this competition were property management professionals from the National Apartment Association chapter in Pennsylvania and were extremely impressed not only with the physical appearance of our communities, but more importantly, the quality of the team that provides the exceptional service for our communities.  

“We put our hearts in your home”…..that’s what separates us from the pack…that’s what continues to make us the leaders in our respective markets…that’s what makes us so successful!

We  want to thank Bob Turner , Alicia Braxton-Renaissance Club , Dena Wilson-The Metropolitan and Mickey Cook-Elkridge Estates for leading their teams to greatness …..  and special thanks to our leasing and service teams for their dedication and commitment to achieving our Quest for Excellence.  You are true professionals.  We salute you and congratulate you for winning these special awards.

We also want to thank our Leasing Coach, Jeff Matthai, for his dedication and commitment to our leasing and marketing program.  Jeff ‘s enthusiasm is contagious and his knowledge and experience is recognized and greatly appreciated.

We want to give a special recognition to Ken Laflame and  his construction team for the great job they are doing at the Renaissance Club.   The judges were no doubt very impressed with our Leasing Center, newly renovated apartments and recreational amenity package.  It is uncommon for a community in the process of a rehab to win this award.  

Finally we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to our main office team who gives us such great support and who also share in this recognition.

Over the past 10 years, we have been well represented in this competition and   we look forward to keeping our streak alive in the years to come!
